Christmas Decor Is UP!

That's right! I slept through most of the decoration festivities today, but I sure did get a kick of the tree and all of its pretty red lights once I woke. I'm getting SUPER excited to see Mumsie, Granddaddy and Aunt Amanda, as they will join us for my first Christmas at the end of the month. Mom was playing with her new camera today. Enjoy!

Mom and Dad's NEW Toy

Mom and Dad decided to do something CRAZY yesterday. They decided to go to BEST BUY on Black Friday. I know. I would have slapped them but I'm to darn busy slapping myself. Well, as most of you probably know...they have had their eye on a new camera with a video recording option. Best Buy had the Nikon D5000 on sale yesterday with and extra lens and fancy-shmancy carrying bag. So, Mom took her Birthday money and past Christmas Money from the past 5 years and decided to make the investment! My Blog just went to a whole new level! Yay!

I was so happy once we left that mad house that I started smiling away. Here are some pics Mom captured with her Blackberry phone in the back seat of our car:





AND...here she is. The very FIRST video Mom took with her new toy not knowing a single thing about what she was doing other than hitting an "OK" button. She decided to post this so that you can see the improvement as her learning curve increases. I was super tired and the light was super low...BUT, the moral of the story is: We have better video quality now and much better sound. YAY!:


And here are some pictures that Mom took this morning fartin around with the different settings. She just turns random dials and pushes random buttons on the camera and shoots away! Molly, Moses, myself and random objects around the house make excellent test subjects. ENJOY!

Birthday Recaps and My First Turkey Day!

Hey, All.
Let me start off by saying...HAPPY TURKEY DAY TO YOU! It's my first Thanksgiving and I have so much to be thankful for! All of my wonderful family, my great health, and wonderful family friends. I hope all of you are enjoying this day with people that are special to you that you are grateful for. We are going to Don and Margaret’s for dinner later today. Although I won't be enjoying the turkey or ham tonight, I will be enjoying it approximately 12 hours later through Mom (-: Yum.

Now for some pics from the past few days. Mom and Dad went to dinner with friends for her Birthday on Tuesday night. They went to Nosh downtown and had a great dinner and a little surprise. The Head Chef was doing rounds and came by their table to ask them what they thought about their meals. Well, Mom was thinking that he looked VERY familiar, and before he lef the table he said that his name was "Shane" and walked off to the next table. Mom and Dad looked at each other, and said "Is that Shane Lyons from the 4th Season of the Next Food Network Star???" Well, come to find out...IT WAS!!! I guess Mom got TOTALLY star-struck and Mom made Shane come back out so that they could get a picture with him. Although he didn't win that season...he went really far and represented Colorado Springs (where he was born and raised) the entire way through. GO SHANE!! We love you (well, at least my Mother does anyway).

Somebody else ALSO had a B-day this week. Yep! Mr. Moses turned ONE on Wednesday! Molly and Moses celebrated with some Doggie Ice Cream. Happy B-Day Moses:

Happy Birthday to MOM and DEVIN!!

Yes, both my Mom and Devin are celebrating their B-Day today!! Devin is in Dallas and told Mom that she will be going to the mall to spend some Birthday money. Mom is going to hang out with me today and maybe catch a Birthday nap (maybe). Tonight, I'm going to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Williams so that Mom and Dad can go to a hip little place downtown called NOSH.
Mom says they have great food and good adult beverages that I won't be able to try until I'm 21. I got a LONG ways to go.

Last night when Mom was up with me, she looked at the clock next to her bed and it said that it was 3:53 AM. Well, she was born at 4:04 AM in the morning on November 24th. Mom started thinking about how 29 years ago at that time, Grandma and Grandpa were getting ready to welcome her into the world. After giving birth to me...she has a WHOLE new appreciation for her parents and the love they have for their children. Mom now agrees that it is true: You don't understand how much your parents love you until you become a parent yourself.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for giving my Mom life! Without you...I certainly wouldn't be here.

Woo Hoo! Mom decided to stop being lazy and created a You Tube account so that she can load the videos she takes of me from her BlackBerry and share them!

This is a video where Mom was trying REALLY hard to get me to smile, but of course...I got camera shy. I had smiled right before she decided to attempt to get it on camera. Mom is just way to slow. But, at least you can enjoy me being stingy with my smiles:



Mom is currently shopping around for a good camera that will hopefully have a better video option that will allow for better quality videos.

Devin's B-Day Weekend

Happy Birthday to big sis DEVIN! Well, actually...her Birthday is on TUESDAY (same B-Day as my MOM), but she is going to Dallas for Thanksgiving so we decided to celebrate this weekend. Can you believe that my sister Devin and my mom have the same B-Day, and my cousin Jazelle and my Aunt Lynda also have the same B-day on the 30th! Talk about making it easy to remember! Last night we went to the Texas Roadhouse to celebrate Devin's B-day with Grandma and Grandpa Williams. I managed to cry and fuss THE ENTIRE TIME. What can I say? I can't ALWAYS be asleep during dinner time. Good thing that place is so loud nobody at the tables around us minded my screaming. We opened some gifts before dinner:
