First Day at Daycare!

Hi, Everyone!

Hope everyone is doing great and getting all their Christmas decorations put to rest until next year. Our house looks so different now that all the decorations are gone until 2010!

Well, today was a BIG DAY. It was my first (unofficial) day of daycare! Mom and Dad took all of my stuff in (diapers, wipes, blankets, my teddy bear, bottles, etc..), and I stayed and played for about 5.5 hours! The nice ladies that run the infant room said I had a great time and I went on a buggie ride! I napped a little and took 2 bottles (which is good because Mom was worried about the bottle situation). Mom didn't even cry! Well, okay...so, she teared up a little bit while eating breakfast with Dad after they dropped me off...but does that really count? I also received my FIRST report card! A+ :

Monday is going to be a different story when she returns to work and has to leave me for 9 whole hours. It is crazy to think that 3 months have already gone by and her time with me all to herself will soon be over. But, today really helped her knowing that I will be well taken care of.
Here I am before leaving for daycare:

Last night was also a great night! I had my bath, and a snack and started rubbing my eyes. So, Mom decided to try something new and just went ahead and put me in my crib around 8:30. I turned my head to the side, stuck my thumb in my mouth...and I was OUT within 5 minutes! AND...I didn't wake up again until 4:30 AM !!! I went to sleep all on my own! Let's see if I'm on to something...

Here are some pictures of me enjoying some time on Dad's shoulder. Check out my wonderful hair style! It has a mind of its own:

I LOVE the view from up high:

Tomorrow, Mom and I are going to enjoy the last day of this WONDERFUL year with Dad. Hope everyone has a wonderful New Year and enjoys celebrating tomorrow night. I don't think Mom or I will make it to midnight...but, you never know!

My First Christmas (Recap)

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I sure did!
Here I am on Christmas Eve with my Soothe and Glow Seahorse (Mom and Dad let me open up ONE gift):

The Christmas ornament Mumsie and Aunt Amanda made me:

Santa came to see me and brought me the book "Walter the Farting Dog" and Walter himself (peeking out of my stocking):

I also got some new Carter's PJ's, and some teething toys, and some rattles that stick on my wrists.
Here are some pics from Christmas morning:

Mumsie was just cracking me up!:

Mom got brave and decided to walk outside in the cold and snap a picture of Pikes Peak on Christmas morning with her new lens:

Ain't that pretty?
Molly and Moses trying to contain their Christmas excitement:

We had a really good day just hanging out and relaxing (although I hardly napped at all). We all got ready and went to Grandma and Grandpa Williams' for Christmas dinner. Ham, turkey, Mumsies cranberry salad, Mom's green bean casserole, Granddads and Dads cornbread stuffing, Margaret's candied yams, Perkins pies, salad, rolls and chili cheese dip were gobbled up by all (only I got mine this morning). After screaming my head off for a few hours, I FINALLY fell asleep. While it was quiet, everyone exchanged a few gifts and visited for a bit. Twas a great first Christmas!

EDIT: More Christmas photos added 1/28/2010:

Waiting for the Christmas Feast:

Today we are debating on taking Aunt Amanda, Granddad, and Mumsie to either A). Garden of the Gods. B). Manitou Springs or C). Castle Rock Outlet Mall (which may be a death sentence the day after Christmas). Guess we have a few hours to figure it out!

Santa Comes Tonight!

Ho Ho Ho!

Hope everyone is getting in the Christmas spirit! I'm SUPER excited for Santa to come visit tonight...although I already got my gift from Santa early (my Take-Along-Swing that sits upstairs). Mom got me all dressed up in my Christmas Eve outfit (down to my Santa socks):

I'm so excited about my first Christmas that I decided to blow bubbles:

Granddad, Mumsie, and Aunt Amanda came into town yesterday:

Molly and Moses took advantage of the extra bodies to rest on:

Molly and Moses also got their gift from Santa early (yuummmmy cookies that look so good they could be human cookies):

We ran some errands today and picked up our pies for tomorrow. French Silk and Apple! Yummy! Tonight we are going to get some soup and bread from Panera and hang out and enjoy the Christmas tree. Dad has been trying to talk Mom into letting him open one of his presents that currently sits under the tree (the Hangover movie). Dad already knows what it is because he was sneaky and tricked Mom into admitting what it was. Hopefully I don't take after my Dad!

Tomorrow we are going to get up early and open the presents that are under the tree and eat a good breakfast together.

I will need help with the wrapping paper THIS year...but next year I will be unwrapping my own presents!
Late tomorrow afternoon we are all going to go to Grandma and Grandpa Williams' house for Christmas dinner.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Eve and please remember to leave out cookies for Santa and carrots for his reindeer (they need them to help see in the dark). Merry Christmas!!

Santa is Almost Here!

All of this Christmas excitement just wears me out (and Dad also):

Mom has been wrapping up her Christmas shopping (in more ways than one) all week and has been dragging me along with her. I don't mind...I just snooze through all the chaos. We are getting ready to see Mumsie, Granddad, and Aunt Amanda tomorrow afternoon. They are flying in from Dallas. I can't wait to meet them!

Last Saturday, Mom and I drove up to Monument with Auntie K to visit Ginger and Baby Daniel. We had a good time hanging out. I munched on my hands while Daniel munched on my feet. It was a team effort! We are going to be hockey buddies in a couple of years. Watch OUT!!!

Daniel is almost exactly 4 months older than me which makes him just over 6 months old. He is getting ready to start crawling and is sitting up on his own. That will be me in 4 months!!!

Daniel says "Hello, buddy!"

I have been doing REALLY well. Mom is tempting the universe when she brags about how well I have started sleeping at night. 4-6 hour stretches!!! Now I will never sleep again. Hahahah! Mom sometimes wakes up and looks over at the clock in the middle of the night and comes into my room to check on me after 5 hours, and I'm just snoozing away having sweet little baby dreams about sucking on my thumb and swinging in my swing. OH, and did I mention that I am officially a thumb-sucker now? I heart sucking on my thumb. No wonder I don't like pacifiers. I want mah THUMB! Nom Nom Nom.

I was sad to hear recently that my Big Sister is moving to Dallas after Christmas. I'm going to miss her. BUT, I know we will see her again soon. She also has the H1N1 virus! I hope she feels better soon and gets lots of rest.

Hope everyone takes some time relax, and enjoys this week with their family and friends. I'm super excited to do just that.

A Christmas Bell, An Armpit Licking, and The Yell Before the Sneeze

Mom was trying to entertain me with one of our little red bells from the Christmas Tree. While she was at it...Moses kept licking her shirt, AND...I demonstrated the "yell" before my sneeze. Do you think you can handle this much EXCITEMENT?? I hope so:

My Furbabies!

What do you get when you combine 2 cute Pugs, a decorated Christmas tree, and a Mom with a new camera?

You get THIS:

They can't wait for Santa to come and visit. They are just reeking of Christmas spirit and they have been super good this year (minus Molly getting on the coffee table this morning).

And here I am taking a nice 10 minute morning snooze...

Oh! Time to wake up!:

At least I'm happy to see my favorite person(MY Mama):

Tonight Mom and Dad are having some friends over for a small get-together. I hear pizza is involved. Woo Hoo!

Santa or Cat in the Hat?

Hmmmmmm...
Not sure. What do you think?

This week has been BUSY. Mom has been trying to do some Christmas shopping here and there...I have been trying to NOT nap here and there...so it has been a busy few days. On Tuesday night we went over to Auntie Amber's for Turner Tacos. Hmmm...lets see...last night I hung out with Dad while Mom went and played hockey (her team won and she got her first goal since coming out of retirement). Today, I went with Mom to lunch with some of her neat co-workers. We needed to get out of the house and it was nice to meet so many nice people (and NO...Mom is not brown-nosing...wink...wink).

Well...it's time for bed. The question of the evening is: Will I sleep for 10 minutes, or 5 hours? It is a MYSTERY.

Weekend Update

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. My Sunday afternoon has been spent watching some football with Dad. OH! And we had a visitor...Ms. Susie came by and dropped off a BEAUTIFUL quilt that she made for me this afternoon. It has puppies on one side, and all sorts of sports equipment on the other. I LOVE it! Can't you tell? :

Thanks again, Susie!

Yesterday Mom and Dad went to the mall (which come to think of it...is my furthest trip from the house since I was born). I slept in my BOB the entire time! Mom and Dad kept rushing to get things knocked off their list thinking that I was going to wake up with a vengeance at any time...but I just kept on sleeping. One of the items on their list? Buy my "Babies First Christmas" Ornament. It's Winnie the Poo in a cute little wagon:

OH, and Mom wanted to share her nickname for me that Auntie Karissa came up with. They both think I look like one of those "Monchichi" Dolls:

Do you agree? So Mom calls me her little Monchichi! I think it is the hair resemblance. It is fine for now...but it better not stick when I start Kindergarten!

And...Happy 26th Birthday to my Uncle Doug:
