JR got to sing the National Anthem Friday evening at the Sky Sox game, and we could not have asked for a more beautiful evening.
Partly kidding, I asked Angella and Larissa if they wanted to meet me super early on April 24th for breakfast at IHOP, just like we did last year before I went in to deliver Beckett. They were totally down! So we did! I have good friends.
April 24th 2018.
April 24th 2017:
We were missing Adam.
Michelle sent this picture to me that evening--looks like they went out and had a little fun to celebrate.
On Friday the District and school were closed due to the teacher protests taking place in Denver. So, we wore our red to show our support!
Molly had her 3rd appointment 3 weeks in a row to deal with this ulcer on her eye. Hopefully only one more week and she is in the clear!
We went to the school for lunch to serve the teachers that stayed back BBQ. They were very appreciative.
As I mentioned, Friday evening JR's 2nd grade class got to sing the National Anthem to open up the Sky Sox Game. As we were walking in, they asked Alex if she wanted to be the "Play Ball Kid." She inquired to see if Sox the Fox was going to be involved, and the answer was OH YES--so she said "Hell No." So Gavin got picked! So, lucky for me I got to sneak on the filed with Gavin and Larissa and take selfies with Sox!
JR and his buddy Emaliee came to see down.
It was pretty cool!
I got first row to JR and all his buddies coming on the field.
They did a great job!
We didn't quite stay around long enough to enjoy the fireworks as it was getting late, but we all had a great time.
I couldn't help snag a pictures of this beauty. Shortly after this picture was taken she got in BIG trouble Saturday night. Good thing she is so cute!
Sunday morning coffee on the patio. Ahhh.
Moses says "I'm just a poor pup from a poor family."
Then he asked for snuggles.
JR has "Immigration Day" on Thursday at school, so we had to do a Family Tree, his birth certificate, and make a dish from the country that he will be from. So, we chose Russia out of our options because Russian Tea Cookies are super easy. Ha!
Ta da!!
We went and got hair cuts, and this little lady got her 2nd professional trim. Isn't it pretty!?
Mom and Dad joined us for dinner on Sunday night and it came together really well! & looked very pretty on my gray table!
We can't believe May is already here. The kids have a 4-day week, and we have family pictures on Sunday evening and a get together with some friends Saturday night. I also hope to visit Hannah and her new baby Juniper this week. Busy Busy!!
