Thanksgiving Break, and Birthday Fun!

We had a great Thanksgiving Break, and I had a wonderful time celebrating my 37th Birthday.  Cathy and Connor dropped off Mr. James last Monday night.  He was fun to care for while they went out of state for Thanksgiving travel.  Super easy!  He came with his 30 crickets that we also fed carrots to keep alive.

Hey Buddy!

We received our new couches for the basement!  Ms. Molly pictured below checking them out.

Lots of beige. We have a lot of color to add.

Jeff and I took Wednesday off for a day to ourselves.  We went to the gym, and grabbed a beer at Cerebus (now Jeff's favorite).  It was a beautiful day--this past week has been in the high 60's! Just amazing.

Caught this beautiful sunset on the ground floor Wednesday night.

Michelle sent me a picture of Beckett! They were spending Thanksgiving in Florida this year.

This little cutie posed for me before Thanksgiving dinner.  It was a pretty quiet day--we did our own little Turkey Trot around the neighborhood, and I made creamed corn and GB Casserole.

We joined Mom and Dad at Don and Margaret's house for Thanksgiving.  The food was wonderful and we all really enjoyed it.

See!?

Look at that hair?  Not a bad job if I do say so myself!

Selfies with Margaret.

Jeff and I with pot!  LOL

There was a LOT of dishes to clean and TONS of leftovers to sort out.  Next year we order food already prepared!  Ha!

Friday morning was my Birthday! This guy greeted me right way.

We got Starbucks, and I got to open some really cute cards and presents.  A Coffee gift card...

I'm truly a lucky gal!

And an Apple Watch! Say What?  Jeffrey decided to spoil me--and I have to say it is pretty cool!

Moses asking me for birthday kisses.

Okay, Buddy.

I met Larissa and Angella at Fuzzy's for breakfast before our pedicure appointment next door.  Morning glory!  Mmmmm...

Posing before our appointment.

The Spa!  Ahhhhh.

Cheers, ladies!

Pretty dark purple toes.

Fuzzy's again!

We met Mom and Dad for dinner at Paravicinis.  My favorite!  The food was delicious--at least mom, Alex, and myself thought so.  We are pasta lovers, what can we say?

Alex spelled her name in the chocolate sauce.  Ha!

I was surprised with this ice cream cake from mom and dad.  It was amazing!

I had a great birthday and couldn't have asked for a better day.  I was truly spoiled.

Saturday we went to the Santa we visited in 2015 at Harding Nursery.  There was no line, and the weather was MUCH nicer than it was two years ago.

JR explained to me that this was NOT the real Santa.  )-:

We shopped for some new holiday mantle decor after visiting Santa.

We really like the upgrades!

For the first time ever we bought a real wreath for our door.  It wouldn't work on our storm door, so we had to bring it inside.  I think we will get more enjoyment out of it!

On Sunday we invited Jake to go to see the movie Coco with us.  It was REALLY good.  Jeff and I both were teary-eyed at the end.

We sat in the new theater seats and they are life-changing.  Super private and comfortable!

Not a whole lot going on this week.  The kids are going to the North Pole on Saturday to celebrate Jake's birthday.
