The kids found more rocks this week! Although we didn't have any time to paint.
Molly celebrated her 11th Birthday last Monday! Jeff and the kids went to Wag N Wash to grab her a special birthday treat and they hooked them up with cupcakes, candles, and party hats!
It's a Pug Party! And we sang to her and everything and she loved it.
And so did Moses!
We love our little old lady very much. We know that she has less years in front of her now than she has behind her. She is starting to move a little slower these days, and take more naps. In the mornings she acts just like a puppy when she comes upstairs to say good morning. Happy Birthday Moose Head!
On Tuesday night we went to Rudy's Sky Sox Tailgate. I think we calculated this was our 8th year in attendance. Well, one year Jeff and Alex skipped but I have been to every one with JR!
Connor and Cathy joined us also!
See those clouds rolling in? Yeah...we were worried about those...
He took my phone and got a rather nice selfie! And pictures of pine cones and ants! Hahah.
By the time we started to walk into the game...the clouds were really rolling in.
But snow cones!
And it turns out that right when we got in through the gates it started to pour. And the game was pushed back to 8:20 PM. Sigh. So we didn't get to see any actual baseball, which was a total bummer. We still had a good time hanging out and tailgating so it wasn't a complete waste! And I got these reenactments of the kids and their first Sky Sox games through Rudy.
Hoping... Sorry, buddy.
He did manage to get soaked playing with Connor in the rain. Didn't seem to mind.
And the kids had soccer camp all week, and Wednesday I got to pop in during camp and snap some pictures during a water break.
Gwyn!
Cooper!
My Ally Cat!
Jar Jars!
They had a fun week, but were also happy that it was over after 5 days. They were exhausted!
This one has been selling some of his old toys for money. Not bad, buddy!
Friday night we had a BBQ at the daycare and the older kids did a little performance. It was super cute.
And this one waited in line to have her face painted for close to an hour! She was determined.
Tycen and Alex.
Of course we couldn't come right home and wash it off before bed. So it stayed on until Sunday night!
I just couldn't resist a picture of this hair fresh out of a braid.
And my tiger cub taking a nap.
JR spotted this guy at Furniture Row!
And managed to KILL his swimming lesson on Sunday. Originally I had cancelled so that we could get more stuff done around the house, and JR asked me if he could go. So, I got the lesson back on the calendar and he passed level 2! Swam the entire length of the pool doing swim float swim, and then the entire length going back on his back. He did awesome!
Level 3 works more with actual swimming strokes and a little more technique is involved. It will be fun to watch him progress.
And he also requested I take this picture of him and all his 719 rocks. Too cute.
Sunday afternoon I decided I needed a pedicure, and I can't sneak away anymore since creating the pedicure monster. So, she had to come along with me and she enjoyed every second of it.
We were happy to visit with mom and dad for a bit Sunday afternoon, and then it was back to getting more stuff ready for the big move! We have carpet cleaners and our house cleaner reporting Wednesday morning. A quote for a new AC, and a plumber coming to fix a water heater valve. Then on Thursday the big movers come, and we hopefully have our Internet and TV reconnected by Thursday night. Granddaddy is flying in Wednesday night to help with the move, and flying back home on Sunday. The daycare is closed on Friday, so it will be good to have an extra pair of hands around. As long as I don't get food poisoning the evening before like I did the last move...I think things will go great!
