The kids had a fairly good week! We went to STEAM night at the school Friday night. I volunteered to help out at a station, so I didn't get to see all of what the kids did. But, Jeff got a couple of pictures of Alex playing with bubbles.
On Saturday evening, we met some of our friends for another year of the Spook out Shoot out at World Golf. We went last year and had such a great time, we decided to go again. The weather started of just gorgeous! But by the time we were leaving around 8:30 pm, it was freezing and blustery.
Gavin and JR:
A black cat and a witch. Too cool!
Some of the pictures that Larissa captured:
Cuties!
Oh! And we kicked off "boo-ing" our neighbors this week, so we ended up getting "boo'd" twice!
On Saturday, we decided to take the kids to try out Archery. They had a chance to give it a try this past summer at camp, and JR had been asking to go since then. It was a fairly small class, and the kids got some individualized attention. The lady who was teaching them has a 20-year old son who is currently on the path to qualify for the next summer Olympics!
Check out that form!
They had a fun time, and asked to go back. So, we might be looking in to more classes to see if it is something they want to commit to long-term.
Here are my pictures from the Spook Out Shoot-Out.
Creepy!
The whole gang: Eli, Jayce, Alex, Gwyn, Gavin and JR!
Sunday morning we got dressed and stopped for breakfast at Java Punk before running a million errands. Of course every place we went was crazy with the storm on the way in.
MMmmmmm.
This week could be a bust with the weather. Thursday is Halloween and it is going to be cold! The kids have parties at school, and we have our traditional Trick Or Treating event at the office only this year--we have 100+ more offices to get candy from! We may not need to brave any sort of cold. We are going to hang with the neighbors and eat some pumpkin-shaped pizza at our old house. This weekend we are off to Great Wolf Lodge with The Loomis family to celebrate Gavin, Gwyn, and JR's birthday's! Larissa also turns 40 while we are there, so we will have all the fun!
