My First Halloween!

I have celebrated my first Halloween by sleeping, eating...and...filling diapers!!! Next year we will go Trick-Or-Treating for sure. Mom put me in my 2009 Halloween Onesie that Aunt Amber bought me and my pumpkin hat that Nanny got me last week while she was here so that I was in the Holiday spirit:

Grandma and Grandpa Williams came over to the house today so that Mom and Dad could have the ENTIRE afternoon to enjoy each other with a nice lunch at Texas Roadhouse and a shopping trip to Babies R Us and Target. AND...they even got an hour nap in! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! Mom and Dad NEEDED a break:
I really like Grandpas mustache. Muahahahahah:

Mom and Dad also picked me up this cool Fisher Price play mat (it took some minor assembly):

Well...we are heading over to the Turner's house here shortly to meet Jen and Jeremy. I haven't had the chance to meet them yet (and I'm pretty excited). I think once they meet me...they are going to want a baby just like me (wink, wink).

Hope everyone has a Happy Halloween!

Oh! And Mom Almost Forgot!

My newborn pics came in yesterday!! Mom can't say they will go to Target again to have the next set done, but she thinks they are better than nothing! Enjoy!

3 Weeks Old! (Plus One Day)

Hey, Everyone!
Mom meant to post yesterday...but she was so tired she decided to take a nap instead. Of course she had to wait until Dad got home from work at 5:00 PM because the longest I napped yesterday was a whopping 30 minutes! I have also recently decided to eat at "Mom's Diner" (that is obviously open 24 hours a day...7 days a week) all night long! Can you blame me? The ambiance is peaceful, the server is familiar, the cuisine is superb, and I love the management! So, she has been a bit tired here lately (she is pounding coffee as she types).

Anyway...I was 3 weeks old last night! Crazy, eh? Won't be long before I'm begging for keys to the car.

Here are some recent pics from yesterday (taken from the Blackberry so please excuse the low quality):

Nanny Goes Home

It has been a fun past few days visiting with Nanny and Devin. We took her to the airport today for her return flight. I slept the entire trip in the car to the airport, but she knows that I will miss her!

Starting tomorrow...it's just Mom and Me! Dad started back at work today after a nice 2+ weeks off to hang with me. He said his day went really well, but that he missed me BIG TIME. Mom started back at work today from home (of course). It is a tricky balancing act trying to get everything done in the time that I'm napping.
Now...some pictures from the Black Berry that Mom took over the past few days!

I love love love snuggling while on my belly (especially on my Dad):

This onesie is SO appropriate for me, you don't even know (I got Dad REAL good recently in the middle of the night):

How could Mom resist the classic paci shot with a paci that is...ohhhh...25 times bigger than my head:

Don't worry...Mom is not giving my coffee in my bottle. I'm just super awake!

Pumpkin Hat and Fargos!

Hi, Everyone!
Just wanted to share some recent pictures from the past few days.
Mom and Nanny made a trip to Babies R Us yesterday and picked me up this cute little Pumpkin Hat. Hey! It was on SALE and it is almost Halloween! PERFECT.

The trip to Babies R Us was my first trip without Dad lugging me around. I think Mom did pretty darn good without Dad, although I did have a minor, uhh...errr...a BIG melt-down when we were trying to get ready to leave the house. But, I eventually calmed down and away we went!
Moses. My funny little dog. He is a bigger bum than myself:

Oooh. LOVE the bath-time. Wish I never had to get out:

I'm getting the hang of this paci thing which is a GOOD thing because I need to learn to entertain myself between feedings:

Nanny lovin on me:

We are going to Fargo’s tonight for pizza with Devin, Nanny, and Grandma and Grandpa Williams. I'm so excited for my first Fargo’s trip (although Mom and Dad are trying to time it right so that I sleep the entire time).
Update! Pictures from my first trip to Fargos:
Two Grandma's and a Grandpa. Can you go wrong?

My dad is so goofy:

Say cheese everyone!(Wow...is that my MOM in a picture??):

2-Week Check-up and Nanny Comes to Town

What an exciting day, I tell ya.
Dad went and picked up Nanny today who flew in to town from Fort Worth. I even put on a special onesie for her arrival that read "Grandma Loves Me." It's true! She was so excited to meet me and hold me that she didn't even get to take her coat off before I was snuggling up with her.

Ahhh...that's better:

We had some lunch and then we were all off to my 2-week check-up with Dr. Reich. You should have seen the look on the docs face when she saw my weight. 8 pounds, 10 ounces!!!! Dr. Reich told Mom and Dad that they like to see that a baby is back at birth weight by 2 weeks of age. Well, folks...I'm not only at BIRTH weight I have exceeded it by 1 whole pound and 1 whole ounce! NO wonder Mom has been going crazy trying to feed me the past two weeks!!! Doc said that I need to start going AT LEAST 2 hours between feedings and NO MORE SNACKING. Darn it! Doc also said that I need to start sleeping in my own room and if I wake up screaming in the middle of the night less than 2 hours between my last meal that Mom and Dad are just suppose to ignore me. Hahhaha. Let's see if they can actually do it! Other than packing on the pounds...I'm doing GREAT. Mom also got the H1N1 mist in her nose to help protect the family. Dad was not able to get the mist because he has asthma. Bummer. He will have to wait for the vaccine in a few weeks.

This afternoon we all spent some quality time hanging out in my nursery reminiscing about my Birthday with Nanny. Dad carried me around for a bit in my Baby Bjorn. They call it..."Baby Wearing." I'm the latest accessory, didn't you know? :

This evening we spent more quality time cuddling on the couch:

I know. I'm pretty freakin cute.
Today my hair was a bit out of control:

I call it my "California Do."
Hang Loose, ya'll!

Update Time

Well...no pics this post. Mom is just too darn lazy to plug in the USB cord and download pictures.

We just got back from dinner and I slept the entire time. I seem to have a pretty darn good track record of sleeping through meal times in public places, and my folks ain't complaining at all. They give me a full belly before we leave...strap me in the snug car seat...drive over all sorts of crazy bumps...and I'm OUT!

Yesterday we went back to the hospital for my second PKU test. If you ask Mom and Dad what the PKU is all about...all you will get is a blank stare. All they know is "no news is GOOD news" so they are hoping for NO news.

Today Mom had to take my furry brother, Moses into the vet for his left eye. Turns out he has an ulcer on it, and it might require surgery if they can't fix it with drops. Mom thinks that babies are less expensive than pets. At least with me...they can pay their co-payment and we are good to go!

Tomorrow it is suppose to be pretty chilly outside. We are planning to stay in our jammies all day long and just lounge around on the couch and eat and sleep! Wait a minute...what would make tomorrow different than any other day the past few weeks? Ha! What better way to celebrate me turning 2 weeks old? Amazing that TWO WHOLE weeks have already zipped by! Next thing you know Mom and Dad will be saying "Amazing how 18 years zipped by!"

Stay warm folks!

Where Do the Days Go?

Mom and Dad look at the clock every day now that I have entered the world...and they are amazed at how the days just fly by! Taking care of me is a full-time gig for 2 grown adults. Who would have known? The funny thing is...all I do is sleep, eat, and poop! Last night we went to BBQ with Grandma and Grandpa Williams. I just slept the entire time. Grandma is starting to wonder if I'm ever awake. I guess her timing is just off!

Today we went to visit an old neighbor that lived next door to Mom, and made a trip to Target afterwards. I slept the entire time (I had a fully belly). Mom thinks that all she does is spend money at Target. I think she might be on to something.

Tonight I got my first "real" bath. Oh, man. Let me tell you. It was sooooo relaxing. The water temp was perfect and I was in heaven. After my bath, I got all wrapped up and fell asleep in record time. Mom can't stop sniffing my head it smells so good. It was a Good day!!
Oh, so relaxing:

Bundled up ready for my evening nap:

Little Milestone

Well...
I'm here to report that my umbillical cord stump fell out this morning, and I'm cleared to take a REAL bath. Mom thought she was stepping on a piece of dog kibble. NOPE. It was my stump! Good thing she discovered it before Molly and Moses did or you can only imagine. GROSSS! Now the question remains...should Mom and Dad save it for my baby book?? Ehhh...

Here I am hanging out with a full belly:

Life is good!

Mom and Dad are starting to get caught up on rest (if you can do such a thing). Mom has learned to function off of about 5-6 hours of interrupted sleep every night. She is pretty darn tired come 9:00 PM every evening. One thing she has discovered is that those info-mercials are pretty entertaining at 3:00 AM especially when you watch them with your eyes crossed!

Yesterday we went for a walk in my BOB. It was AWESOME. We took Molly and Moses with us too:

Here are some more pics from the past few days:

My Dad stole the camera and thought it would be funny to take a picture of himself. Sigh.

Sponge Bath Time!

Not to be confused with Sponge BOB time.
Since my umbilical cord stump still hasn't fallen off, and my circumcision is still healing...I get the luxury of wonderful sponge baths. Don't get me wrong...I have my moments where I start to get cold and the counter top starts to get hard...but I smell so darn tasty afterwards it is all worth it.

Oh, and Mom wanted to share the cool pedi she got that helped her get through the day I was born:

Enjoying some TV time after my bath with Dad:
