Well. We had a wonderful end to our visit with Nanny and Adie...and Mom got plenty of pictures to prove it. Yesterday, I took a loooong nap (2 hours...usually unheard of), and then we went up to one of the nearby tourist traps, also known as Manitou Springs. We started with lunch at The Loop. I got to enjoy some tortilla while everyone else enjoyed tacos and fajitas. After lunch, we ventured out to see all the neat little stores and sites around the area.
Dad and I hanging outside of the Bead Shop where Nanny picked up more beads for all the jewelry she enjoys making:

It was a hot afternoon! I'm glad Dad decided to put me in shorts before we left:

I LOVED playing in this cool little water contraption that was sitting outside. I got SOAKED:

I'm definitely going to have to get me one of these!:

"Hmmm...this plastic insect tastes pretty good."

After playing and splashing in the water, we went into a really neat little toy shop. I think everyone enjoyed playing with the toys.

Adie playing with a toy gun:

Hey...is it too early to start talking about Christmas Trees? This was the cooolest tree ever. It was an upside-down Christmas Tree. The pictures just don't do it justice:

I need to talk Mom and Dad into getting us one of these. Shoot. They are only $1,000.00. Nanny in front of the upside-down Christmas Tree:

Me on my first kiddie ride. After Mom decided to pop a quarter in it to make it "GO," I wasn't too sure about it. Give me 6 months or so...and I will love it!:

After playing around in the toy store and at the outdoor arcade, we decided it was time for a break in the air conditioning. What better place to take a break than a winery? I got to play with my new train blocks from the toy store while...

and Mom (not pictured) & Dad:

...tasted some wine! They wouldn't let me try any. Maybe in 20 years!
My "JRW" Train:

After our afternoon break, Dad decided to humor Mom with a few goofy poses:

Silly Dad. Don't go tooo far!:

After all of our fun...I passed out for another 2 hour nap! I was pooped!

Nanny posing for Mom before we got in the car to head home:

Later in the evening, Grandma and Grandpa Williams came over and joined us for pizza.
"Hey, Nanny? Can you make me a necklace like the one you have here?"

We had a wonderful day, and really enjoyed Nanny and Adie's visit. We will miss you and will plan on seeing you around Thanksgiving.
Tonight we are having dinner with some friends that are expecting a baby girl any day now. Hope everyone has a great week!
