This Just In!

Guess what everyone? My first tooth has popped through! Mom went and jammed her finger in my mouth last night, and she felt it! It is very difficult to see...so she was not able to capture a picture...but don't you worry! She will get one eventually. About 8 days short of my 1st Birthday and I finally have the very top edge of a tooth. Woo Hoo! Since Mom didn't capture any photos of me, I will leave you with a photo she captured of Dad and Moses last night "chillin" on the couch. I had to "Censor" Moses' you know what. Hey, ya'll. This is a G-RATED Blog!

Gunther's with Grandma and Grandpa tonight! YUM.

Busy Busy Weekend

What did we do this weekend, you ask? More like…what did we NOT do this weekend? It was a busy one, I tell you! Fun, and productive (seems to be a theme…which is a good thing!). On Friday afternoon…I greeted Mom and Dad at the door:

Enjoying the front row of a lazy afternoon drive around the daycare center. “Oh…you are here to take me home? Sweet!”

On Friday evening…we joined Grandma and Grandpa at where else?? PANERA. In case you didn’t know…PANERA is their favorite Friday night hang-out spot. Sometimes we decide to crash their party! OH, and their Tomato Soup is back...and I just so happen to LOVE it. Especially when you dip a piece of bread in it. Yummy!
“Hey Grandma…let me have your nose.”

I'm just too darn funny!

“Hmmm…spying is FUN.”

On Saturday, Mom and Dad got quite a few things accomplished, and then we went to look at another house! This house…needs some serious work. So, who knows. On Saturday evening, Grandma and Grandpa came over to hang out with me while they went to celebrate Auntie K’s Birthday. Mom and Dad don’t know how to act when they are child-less!

Now that is more like it!

Auntie K enjoying her Birthday Dinner.

Dad, Junior, and Jason:

Everyone had a great time, and I had fun going to eat BBQ with Grandma and Grandpa. They did a pretty good job taking care of me!
On Sunday…we were so busy my head is still spinning. From the minute we woke up in the morning…we hit the ground running and didn’t stop until it was bedtime. Laundry and grocery shopping and returning stuff to Petsmart and Wal-Mart and new car seat installation, and haircuts and fixing a washing machine and cleaning and organizing and more baby proofing and oh the list just goes on! Here I am inspecting my new car seat. I have finally out-grown my infant car seat (height-wise). It is going to take some adjusting, because now...Mom and Dad just can't lug me around anywhere. They have to physically get me in and out of the seat, and if I'm tired or "not in the mood," things are going to get very interesting! No more late dinners out for them!
I also got my 2nd haircut! That's right...2 haircuts before my FIRST Birthday. I did REALLY well. Didn't cry or freak out even a little bit. Dad helped keep me occupied while the nice lady did all the necessary trimming. Check me out! I no longer look like Shaggy!
We had a great weekend. Tonight, Mom and Dad begin their parenting class. I’m going to hang out in the nursery for a couple of hours. At least my buddy Daniel will be joining me! I’m going to be one pooped baby tonight. Hope everyone has a great start to their week.

Nanny and Adie Wrap-Up To Their Visit

Well. We had a wonderful end to our visit with Nanny and Adie...and Mom got plenty of pictures to prove it. Yesterday, I took a loooong nap (2 hours...usually unheard of), and then we went up to one of the nearby tourist traps, also known as Manitou Springs. We started with lunch at The Loop. I got to enjoy some tortilla while everyone else enjoyed tacos and fajitas. After lunch, we ventured out to see all the neat little stores and sites around the area.
Dad and I hanging outside of the Bead Shop where Nanny picked up more beads for all the jewelry she enjoys making:

It was a hot afternoon! I'm glad Dad decided to put me in shorts before we left:

I LOVED playing in this cool little water contraption that was sitting outside. I got SOAKED:

I'm definitely going to have to get me one of these!:

"Hmmm...this plastic insect tastes pretty good."

After playing and splashing in the water, we went into a really neat little toy shop. I think everyone enjoyed playing with the toys.

Nanny having fun:

Adie playing with a toy gun:

Hey...is it too early to start talking about Christmas Trees? This was the cooolest tree ever. It was an upside-down Christmas Tree. The pictures just don't do it justice:

I need to talk Mom and Dad into getting us one of these. Shoot. They are only $1,000.00. Nanny in front of the upside-down Christmas Tree:

Me on my first kiddie ride. After Mom decided to pop a quarter in it to make it "GO," I wasn't too sure about it. Give me 6 months or so...and I will love it!:

After playing around in the toy store and at the outdoor arcade, we decided it was time for a break in the air conditioning. What better place to take a break than a winery? I got to play with my new train blocks from the toy store while...

...tasted some wine! They wouldn't let me try any. Maybe in 20 years!
My "JRW" Train:

After our afternoon break, Dad decided to humor Mom with a few goofy poses:

Silly Dad. Don't go tooo far!:

After all of our fun...I passed out for another 2 hour nap! I was pooped!

Nanny posing for Mom before we got in the car to head home:

Later in the evening, Grandma and Grandpa Williams came over and joined us for pizza.
"Hey, Nanny? Can you make me a necklace like the one you have here?"

We had a wonderful day, and really enjoyed Nanny and Adie's visit. We will miss you and will plan on seeing you around Thanksgiving.

Tonight we are having dinner with some friends that are expecting a baby girl any day now. Hope everyone has a great week!

Fun Weekend with Family and Friends

Hey, All!

Man...let me tell you. I sure have been doing lots of visiting and playing and running around and seeing all sorts of new faces these past few days! I have also been napping REALLY well and sleeping in a bit in the mornings...so Mom and Dad are not complaining. On Saturday morning, I hung out with Grandma and Grandpa while Mom and Dad went to a Love and Logic class. They said they were very happy that they went, and learned quite a bit. They are already trying a few of the techniques that they learned on me...sneaky sneaky. On Saturday afternoon...Nanny and Adie came in to town! Dad went and picked up Devin, and we all went out to a BBQ Birthday party for our good friend, Jeremy. He is currently working in Florida, and we miss him very much!

Party Animal!!!:

It was great seeing everyone...although Mom only got one picture of the Birthday Boy. Ooops!

Yesterday morning we had fun hanging around the house, and yesterday afternoon...my buddy Daniel came over to visit for a few hours while his folks went to see a movie. We had a great time! Went for a walk...and NAPPED for the majority of the afternoon. We were easy peasy!
Going on our walk...2 Pugs...2 Babies...2 BOBs...4 adults...and 1 Teenager:

BOB Fleet!:

Daniel and his ball (actually...it is my ball...but I decided to share it with him for the afternoon):

Enjoying my walk:

Molly and Devin resting after our walk. It was a warm afternoon:

Daniel pooped after our walk:

While we were napping...those that were awake enjoyed some of these yummy cupcakes...all the way from Dallas, TX. Hey...if you snooze...you lose!:

This was a variety pack that contained Red Velvet, Pumpkin Spice, Strawberry, Chocolate, Lemon Poppy Seed, and Vanilla. YUM!

Today I got to stay home from daycare, and Mom and Dad have taken the day off of work. We are going to go to Manitou and walk around and have lunch. Tonight, Grandma and Grandpa are coming over to visit before Nanny and Adie head back home tomorrow morning.

Big Weekend Plans

Hey, All! Well...we have a busy weekend ahead! Got last-minute news that Nanny and Adie are driving in from Dallas! Yay! Mom and Dad have a "Love and Logic" class to go to tomorrow morning, so I'm going to hang with Grandma and Grandpa for a few hours. We are going to get to see Devin, and we are then going to go to a Birthday Party for a good friend. On Sunday, my buddy Daniel is going to come over and hang out with his while his folks go see a movie. And on Monday...we are going to find some sort of trouble to get in to while Nanny and Adie are visiting. Can't wait! Oh, and Mom didn't capture any new photos since the last update (I know...BAD Mommy), so here is what I like to call "VINTAGE J.R."

This picture was taken just a few days after I was born. I still had a little bit of Jaundice going on...had my hat from the hospital on my head...and my foot was obviously cold.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Oh, and just in case you haven't heard...my Blog is going private in a few weeks...so please send your E-mail address to Mom by E-mailing her at andrea1124@earthlink.net.
