Halloween and Weekly Happenings!

Last Monday evening was Halloween.  I have decided that Halloween on a Monday sort of sucks.  Or any week day for that matter.   These two were eager to Trick Or Treat--so we patiently waited until about 6 pm for it to get dark enough to go.  Not like they didn't already have 9 pounds of candy from Trunk or Treating and Trick or Treating at work!  JR managed to eat it running down a driveway just 10 mins in, and Alex tripped and fell shortly after.  Between my back hurting and her wanting to throw in the towel after about 15 minutes, we decided it was best to come home and hand out candy instead.  We didn't get many Trick Or Treaters, but our street was mostly dark.  Oh well!
Ready to go!

And these were pictures from the parade at daycare earlier in the day that Larissa captured.

Last week was a fun week for JR where they did different dress-up days if you brought different requests in for a local food pantry.  This was mis-match day!

And this little cutie looked like a Texan insisting on wearing her Cowboys jersey.

Last week was our first week of studying for JR's first spelling test.  I think he nailed it!

On Saturday we celebrated Gwyn's 5th Birthday.  Which means Alex's birthday is right around the corner!

Cooper, Alex, and Birthday Girl Gwyn.  So cute!

On Saturday evening we had Nikki come over to watch the kids so that Jeff and I could join Mom and Dad for a wonderful fondue dinner at Mona Lisa to celebrate Mom's birthday, and Mom and Dad's 41st anniversary!  I didn't capture a single photo! Guess we were too busy enjoying ourselves.

Sunday we got stuff done around the house and took it easy. Ventured out in the afternoon to run some errands and stopped at Zio's for some dinner.  This girl loves her pasta much like here mama.
