We had a fantastic week! The weather has started to warm up (for now), and we have some SPRING FEVER going on. There is talk about snow on Wednesday? Tis Spring in Colorado!

We made a trip to Dairy Queen early last week (it was 30 degrees out---we were trying to channel the 70 degree temps---and we think it worked).
Alex likes to SCREAM at you when she wants whatever it is you are eating. There was a lot of "screaming for ice cream" this particular evening (happy screaming):

Daddy and I:

"Mommy? Will you take a picture of me with my ice cream?"

Some cute video Mom captured of Alex and I entertaining ourselves:

Alex discovered...MANGO! (on a different evening last week):

Friday was "Group Picture Day" at school. Alex had her pretty outfit on and her bow:

She of course...refused to look at the camera:

We can't wait to see how the class group pictures turn out.
Pretty girl in the tub!

On Saturday morning, Mom and Dad rode their bikes (with us in the trailer) to a different park that was in our neighborhood. It was SOOO beautiful out. Alex had a blast swinging and walking around the playground.

I loved that the swings had more chain length! More chain length = more fun!

We brought snacks for a picnic! Hummus, chips, yogurt, cheese, crackers, and fruit! It was perfect.

I decided it was in my best interest to make friends with a little boy who showed up with this cool mode of transportation:

We "patrolled" the park together for a least 45 minutes.

It was a little after 12 PM before we decided we should head home. Unfortunately, Alex hit her "I NEED A NAP RIGHT NOW" wall, and we high-tailed it home. Well...Mom forgot to pack her pacifier...so she was NOT a happy camper. She completely CRASHED before we could pull into the driveway. Poor baby was WHIPPED OUT. She napped for 3 hours on Saturday afternoon.

Grandma and Grandpa came over later in the afternoon while Mom and Dad met some of their friends for dinner at Hacienda. It was a greatday, for all of us.

On Sunday, we met The Gump Family for breakfast at one of our favorite spots...The Egg and I. Cami is going to be ONE in June. Amazing how fast the time has flown by.

Alex and Cami entertaining themselves with jelly packets!

It was awesome being able to catch up with this wonderful little family (I'm not pictured...too many other important things to discover outside of the restaurant):

We ran a few errands after breakfast, and Mom gave Molly and Moses the full bath treatment (including washing ALL of their stinky dog bedding). Molly posed for a profile picture:

M&M in need of a nap after all the bath time fun:

We played and hung around the house the rest of our Sunday afternoon. Alex couldn't keep her eyes open past 6:45 PM. She was one pooped Toddler:

So, I had Mom and Dad all to myself so we decided to play a couple of board games before bed:

Candy Land!!!!

Hope everyone has great week!
