What's Been Going On

Hey, All! Happy Monday to YOU! Now...before I start with an update on recent happenings...I need to take a moment to do some SERIOUS bragging. Ya'll? Something sort of "clicked" for me last week, and I'm happy to report that I am now POOPING IN THE POTTY!! Woo Hoo! ALL last week I went poop at school--NO Accidents! Mom and Dad were still a little nervous that it was a school-thing (as I still had not yet pooped in the toilet at home). Well, Friday night...we when out for pizza...I pooped! AND...I must have pooped about a dozen times at home all weekend long. Mom honestly had no idea that so much poop could come out of such a little person. Guess I am literally FULL OF POOP! Now that I know it is No Big Deal...I love to poop all the time on the toilet! Let's hope this lasts...as it is pretty awesome for all parties involved. Yay!

Okay...now moving on...We enjoyed our time with Devin last week. I mentioned we went out for pizza Friday night as our last meal together for awhile, and then we said our goodbyes and Dad took her to the airport to head back home early Saturday morning. We enjoyed our visit with Devin, and I have asked about her quite a bit since she has gone.

We didn't do much on Saturday at all. Just hung around the house. Blew some bubbles...

Went to Panera for dinner (and yes...I pooped there too).

Sunday was our "Fun Day." We got up early, packed up the car, and left for one of our favorite little restaurants in Green Mountain Falls...The Pantry! There, we met The Loomis Family for a wonderful breakfast on the patio.

Alex, ready to EAT:

Gwyn was also ready to chow down! Gavin's Grandma and Grandpa came too!
Mom's breakfast...she read some recent reviews and decided to get the "Cinnamon Roll French Toast." HOLY COW! It's a miracle she was able to fit in her jeans this morning! I had a few bites, and it was AMAZING. It also came with eggs, country-sliced potatoes...and BACON.

Everyone else really enjoyed their breakfast. I split a pancake with Gavin. Mmmmmm. After breakfast, we left for Santa's Workshop. We got there right as they were opening for the day. Gavin and I didn't waste any time getting busy riding rides.

Alex will be a good ride riding-partner someday! For now, she would rather take a few catnaps in her car seat:
I got to check out the reindeer and some regular deer.

Blitzen? Nah...far too small. Maybe one of Blitzen's long lost cousins.

Dad took one for the team and rode the Tilt-O-Whirl with me (or as Mom likes to call it...the "Tilt-O-Hurl." Later, Mom took one for the team and rode a very spinny, round and round and round ride with me (can't remember the name), and she talked ME into going on the Candy Cane Rollercoaster with her. I loved it! I seem to have NO FEAR. In fact, Mom made a comment that I'm reminding her of my Uncle Doug a lot here recently. Loud and FEARLESS with a mind of my own.

Stopping for a break in the cafe:

Gwyn just got finished eating in this pic. She doesn't look like she is interested in having her picture taken at all! Ha.

Gavin and I doing self-portraits. We are SILLY.

We had a wonderful time! & since Mom forgot the pre-paid passes she bought, we will be sure to be back at least one more time before the season is over (hopefully more).

Our plans for the week include the annual Sky Sox baseball game hosted by our friend Mark "Rudy" tomorrow night. This will be my 3rd year attending, and Alex's first tailgating party and baseball game. We have professional family pictures on Sunday, so we are looking forward to that. Not much else going on...hope you have a great week.
