This is when they started to sense that she was having difficulty breathing:

We are so grateful that her stay in the NICU was short, and that the nurses and doctor's that cared for her did such a great job making her stay so short:

And that was it! Mom and Dad were at the hospital just shy of 2 hours before Alex was born. As Mom mentioned, Shannon made it just in time. 10 minutes later, and she would have missed it all.
