Isn't she adorable? Quite a few visitors have never really seen her awake. She has her awake periods more and more every day. Hopefully Grandma and Grandpa will get to visit with her while she is awake tomorrow. They are coming over to visit for the Super Bowl festivities!

Alex wearing clothes! She is usually dressed in footed jammies. Mom decided that dressing a newborn in real clothes is sort of silly. They are super difficult to get on and off, and it doesn't take long before they are ready for a complete outfit change! But, she is super cute in her little outfit.
We are happy to report that she hasn't had any projectile spit-up for 3 days!!! Sure...she has a little bit of baby puke here and there...but nothing that requires a complete change of clothes for everyone involved. Yay!
We all woke up early this morning and enjoyed some fresh cinnamon rolls and fruit! Mom and Dad enjoyed some much needed hot coffee.
Alex is doing a pretty good job letting Mom sleep a good 4 hour stretch between 9:00 and 1:00 AM, but after that? All bets are off!! & of course I'm ready for my day to begin at 7:00 AM sharp. Hey...I get a full 11 hours of sleep...I'm ready to get the day started!
Not much going on this weekend other than the BIG GAME! Mom is going to prepare some yummy munchies, and we are just going to hang out. OH! My buddy Spenser might come visit later on today...The Smith Family can't wait to see Alex (and play with me and all my cool toys). Take care for now...and stay warm!
