End of 1st and 3rd Grade!

We had a wonderful week. The weather was beautiful, and the kids wrapped up a wonderful school year.
And when the sun is out, these bums come with me outside to sit at my feet and enjoy a nice warm break.

Friday was there last day, so of course we took  the pictures with the sign!

Looks like JR has a little more height distance between him and Alex in the Last Day of School Picture.

I got to pop in for the last day of school festivities.  This is Alex with Ms. Sciacca and her friend Naomi who requested to be in the picture.  Not shy at all!

She was a great teacher to Alex.  Alex is now pretty much full-blown reading! We are so proud.

JR's class was having a party outside.   Mr. Dahl was also a great teacher to JR.  We will miss him, but hopefully Alex can get him in a few years.

JR and his best buddy at school, James.

Being silly.

Afterwards we were invited to a friends house for an after school ice cream social.  Even Ms. Sciacca made an appearance!  Man do we love the culture.   All smiles!

A beautiful view I captured from the back deck a few nights ago.

Mosey falling asleep on his favorite plastic keys.

On Saturday we decided to skip the Manitou Wine Festival, but we met up with our friends after they were done drinking wine all day.  HA!  It is pretty cool when their neighbor is a castle with a nice lawn.

This came is called Koob!

Sunday we got a bunch of stuff down around the house.  Alex went to her friend Rarui's birthday party that was just awesome, and JR had a play date with James!  Jeff and I got to go have a nice quiet lunch, and check out some new houses up north.
Rauri and Alex:

Today is their first day of Go West Camp for the next 3 weeks.  Then we have a 3 week break, and they go back to another session.   It should be a great summer for everyone.
