Alex Turns 7!

We had a wonderful week wrapping up Alex's Birthday celebration(s) and getting back in to the swing of school.  The last two days of Winter Break were spent with friends, and running errands with me!
Pictures from Alex's play date with her friend Rauri at their house.

They were doing princess yoga.

We took older brother Finn, back with us to our house for the day.  It's fun to have some new friends from the new school.

Alex and her buddy Moses.

Alex had her well-exam with Dr. Reich, and she is perfectly great and normal!

Then, we went and got Frozen Yogurt.

Friday night, I got to do another Boards and Brush class with my girlfriends.  Meanwhile, Jeff caught a mouse at home within 20 mins.  Glad I missed it!

Andrea made a really cool sign...

Laura and Jodi!

My finished products (one is a gift for Amber).

Ta da!

I love the way it turned out for our formal area.

Saturday morning was Alex's 7th Birthday Party at Uncle Buck's inside Bass Pro.  We had a HUGE party room.  Quite a few kids were no-shows, but we still had a great time celebrating.

She picked out the horse cake at Kings.

The kids had pizza and cake, and then bowled for an hour.

Brooke, Gwyn, Alex, and Rauri!

Cortland, JR, and Gavin!

Rylee and Rebecca!

Such a cool bowling alley.

My girl and I.

Lily!

These two are best buds in their 1st grade class.

We ran out of time at Uncle Buck's, so we took all the cards and gifts home so she could open them.
(Looking at a calendar that was made for her by Cathy).

So sweet.

Score on the movie gift cards!

On her actual birthday, she requested Dunkin Donuts!  So off we went.  She also didn't let us forget a candle in her donut.

In the afternoon, we went to Target so she could spend some of her Birthday money.

She got a beautiful necklace from Mumsie!  And picked out a talking  Unicorn.

And of course we went to her favorite place--Noodles! Grandma and Grandpa met us there for dinner.

Grandma picked her up this amazing birthday cake from Baskin Robbins.  Yum!

I would say she was pretty spoiled for her birthday.

We had a great time celebrating our 7 year old.  Time flies.
Monday night was a school night at Texas Roadhouse--we got to sit with some more new friends from the school.

Alex still hid from Andy the Armadillo whenever she spotted him. Thought we were over the whole mascot thing!

Not a whole lot planned for this week--meeting some of my surrogate friends for dinner on Saturday night, and JR is going to Jameson's Birthday party on Saturday afternoon.
