Phew! What a Week

Okay. So our first week...AT HOME.  I only had to report to the office ONE day last week, and we attempted a new routine and schedule without daycare and office reporting.  It was a little chaotic, as it should be when you have had the same schedule going for the last 6-10 years.  LOL.  But, we made it and the kids enjoyed not having to go to bed early or wake up early, and we all lived to tell about it.
Molly had her 2nd acupuncture treatment last Monday.  She did pretty good!  We aren't quite noticing the improvements we were hoping to.  Her 3rd appointment was today.  We are going to give it another couple of weeks to see where we go.

Ms. Rose hung with the kids on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.   They did a lot of fun things!
Made t-shirts with puffy paint....

Went to PAFB to check out the planes...

Oh! Tuesday morning Alex was not feeling so well, so she is back on her reflux medicine after having two "barfy" episodes within one week.  ):

But by the afternoon she was 100%, and we got to do our first swimming trial lesson at Safe Splash.  Totally different technique than the last place, and I'm hoping we can stick with it this time and the kids actually LEARN TO SWIM!

I made a delicious, giant, meatball (blog worthy).

We spent a very HOT Wednesday afternoon in the backyard with the pool.  Molly and Moses enjoyed the shade with me.  And Cheez-Its.

The kids with to the Mining Museum with Ms. Rose.  Pretty cool!

Then went and had giant ice cream sundae's at Freddy's.

Ahhh...to be a kid not in daycare during the summer!

On Thursday the kids got to do a class with Gavin and Gwyn.

Goof Balls!

And! Got to meet them at the pool later that afternoon! A double dose of their BFF's!

That is Ms. Tori arm-wrestling JR.

Thursday night was movie night at the school and we ran into our old buddy Tycen!

Brooke came with us, too.

Friday was bowling with Ms. Rose!

And while the kids were bowling, and after we wrapped up an appointment with our attorney to finalize our wills--we decided tacos and margaritas were next.

Mmmmm...the Pineapple Express and the Chicken Sriracha.

I caught this beautiful sunset.

Sadly, the haze that made that sun glow so bright is from all the fires burning around the state.  )-:

On Saturday we decided to get the kids some legit pedal bikes!

We weren't sure on the size of her bike since she is right in the middle--but we went for the tad bigger size, and she is doing excellent on it, and we are happy with our decision so that it lasts us a few years.

Sunday morning we got them out on the bikes at the basketball court near our house, and they just TOOK OFF.  It was amazing!  A couple of years on balance bikes and that was it!
Sunday night we went to see Incredibles 2!

Man! They have been busy...WE have been busy.  Only 5 weeks of summer left--can't believe it is already more than half way over.  This week we are hanging around the neighborhood for the 4th of July.  Not sure what the exact plan is, but we will figure something out.  The kids have a birthday party Friday night.  & Swim lessons and Soccer for Alex on Saturday!  Busy Busy!
