Weekly Update!

Man. Recovering from the post-vacation blues was ROUGH last week! Crappy weather, and some "not so great" events sort of left Jeff and I pretty bitter and ready for the weekend. Blah.
What better way to drown your sorrows than stuffing your face full of Chick Fil A and ice cream? Hahha.

This was after play in the Chick Fil A Play place that is super annoying and always chalked full of screaming children and no parents.  I'm telling you...McDonald's has a much nicer set-up!  Weird.

On Saturday morning, we attended a Birthday Party for Cortland.  Cortland turned 8 (I KNOW...EIGHT YEARS ALREADY) last Thursday.  Auntie Amber went ALL out in Batman Decorations and Food and everybody had a great time stuffing their faces and watching the kids play.
Happy Birthday C-Man!

The party was at House of Bounce.  We occupied a fairly large party room and the kids could come back to the room and nibble and then go play as they pleased. It was pretty cool!  The party was at 10:30 so it was early enough that the place wasn't too crowded.  Of COURSE Ms. Alex wanted nothing to do with actual playtime. She just clings pretty close to Jeff and I.

Auntie K's Baby, Olivia and Mandy

Basically, Saturday was "Pass the Baby Day!" Everyone (including myself) got plenty of snuggles in with Baby O. She is just so darn cute!

Batman even showed up!  JR was super excited to hear that Batman was coming, and once Batman showed up...JR wanted NOTHING to do with him.  Got one glance and took back off to go play.  And you know Alex wouldn't dare come close!

Even Baby Olivia decided she wasn't a fan after getting a little too close to Batman.

Awwwwww.

At least the Birthday Boy had no fear!

Junior and Baby Olivia!

Singing Birthday to Cortland (the cupcakes were amazing):

I just couldn't stop taking pictures of her!

And this was the COOLEST balloon ever!  Thing was huge!!!

Ms. Alex checking out Batman.  NOPE. Ain't gonna do it!

After the awesome party we all came back to the house and took wonderful naps.  We took the rest of the afternoon easy and made a stop for BirdDog for dinner.  I had to admit it...but it was GOOD!

Sunday morning...another Birthday Party only this time at SkyZone.  SkyZone is a huge trampoline facility and it was HUGE.

Jeff and I left the party that was scheduled from 11:30-1:45 a little...STARVING. Turns out the pizza was only for the kids.  Lesson learned!!!
We came home and made a huge pot of Sausage and Corn Chowder Soup. It was DELISH.

Molly asked to be picked up.  LOL

We stayed home the rest of the afternoon and evening and watched MORE snow come down.  Blah.  Not much going on this week.  The kids have different school activities everyday to honor the Birthday of Dr. Seuss.  That made for an easier drop off with JR this morning. Alex still threw a fit.  Monday's are ROUGH in The Wright household!
