Mom got to visit little Ms. Olivia on Wednesday afternoon. She is just the sweetest and tiniest thing EVER! She was born on Saturday, August 30th!
Proud Daddy, Trent:
We still managed to get in a couple after-dinner walks last week...before the cold front came through. And what would a post be without Alex and I posing on rocks?
Daddy decided to take a last-minute trip to go camping with some of his guy buds on Friday afternoon...so it was just the three of us until Sunday afternoon. We managed to stay busy and productive all weekend, and Alex and I were VERY well behaved making Mon's single-parenting much easier. Friday night we stopped at McDonald's for Happy Meals and Play Place time. They have really cleaned things up, and Mom was pretty impressed!
Oh, and we totally got ice-cream!
But Mom still thought we needed baths after being all over the play equipment...
On Saturday morning, we packed up and went to Little Monkey Bizness. We needed to pick up my invites for my 5th Birthday Party coming up in a few weeks, and decided to make a morning out of it and stay and play for a few hours. We met our buddies, Gavin and Gwyn too!
Snack Time!
Deep in Painting:
The Girls up next!
Sliding Blur:
After LMB, we came home and all took naps! Then, we scurried on over to Jameson's House so that Mom could do some clothes-shopping. After that, we grabbed a couple pizza's and visited Gavin and Gwyn (Daddy was camping with Mr. Shawn...so we decided to all keep each other company).
On Sunday...we had a picnic in the park! Daddy got home around noon...we were happy to see him before naptime. He was dearly missed...but he REALLY appreciated the nice little break.
Mom and Grandma decided to visit Auntie K and Baby Olivia while us kids were napping. Grandma brought over some chili for the new parents, and Mom got some extra snuggles in with Baby O!
Selfies with Olivia:
Sleeping on her mama's chest. Soooo sweet:
Alex demanded another trip to the park after dinner. It was beautiful...until...it started pouring...and Mom RAN back home holding a 28-pound toddler. Go Mom!
Going to miss these nights when the weather fades...
Goofy Girl!
Not much planned for this week! Hope everyone has a good one!
