Don't have much to update on this week, really. Mom must have been lazy with her camera as there aren't many pictures to share.
Alex had a very smooth week in her new room. Every morning she did EXCELLENT during drop-off. She walked right in, didn't need her blanket, and found a place at the table with something to do. WAY better than I adapted moving to this room. She even did excellent this morning, with a completely different teacher from another class! No tears. We are very proud of her.
Mom and Dad had an appointment with Dad's allergist last week. Got some important questions answered, and have a plan moving forward for his future treatments.
Did we mention that Alex is SUPER ready to potty train? Pretty sure the official training is going to start this NEXT weekend. She is constantly wanting to pee on the potty (and does), and does NOT want her diaper on. So, Mom and Dad are getting psyched about doing it this next weekend! Woo Hoo. She also hasn't asked about her pacifier for 5 or 6 days now? And she seems to be coping MUCH better now without it...we are sooo happy that is DONE.
I like to give "moral support" while she is learning:
We had a pretty good weekend! Dad went out with some buddies on Saturday night, so Gavin and Gwyn came over for a playdate that evening. We played at ate Jimmy Johns! Boy did I chow down on a turkey sandwich. Mom ran around like a crazy person on Sunday, and Sunday afternoon we decided to get out of the house for a bit and go look for a new pair of kicks for Alex. That was exhausting! After shoe-shopping, we grabbed dinner at Wendy's!
Girl knows how to work her Frosty French-Fry dipping!
What a handsome date!
Tons of teeth now fill her little mouth! She has had a couple new ones pop in over the last month!
Alex's new shoes!
This week is Dr. Seuss week at school. Crazy hat day, pajama day, crazy hair day, dress ourselves day, and mustache day! So, it should be a fun week giving Alex and I a little something different every day. Hope everyone has a great week!
