Landscaping Complete! Busy Busy Busy!

Well, as promised---we got our landscaping started and completed last week! Mom & Dad were very pleased with the way it all turned out, and were very happy with the company who did it all. A total win all around. Here are some of the before and after pictures for your enjoyment:

They also gave us a new drip line to water all of the plants in the front. We are hoping most of the plants survive, and we are eager to see how they cycle through their blooming seasons next year.

We ate dinner outside the evening our landscaping was completed. Mom caught some great footage of me sharing my dessert with Alex:

Alex and I had a great week at school. On Friday, my preschool class went to the Deer Field Splash Park in Security, and Alex's Toddler class did a "splash day" at the school.

Late Friday evening, Alex woke up around 11:30...and PUKED all over Daddy )-: She continued to get sick about 9 times after that...much like the evening of her first Birthday party when she had too much cake and BBQ chicken. She seemed "okay" for the most part on Saturday, but everyone sure was tired from being up half the night. Alex took a 4 hour nap on Saturday afternoon. Poor thing!

After Alex's nap, and my nap--Dad put together our new water table. It was hot outside, and this was the perfect way to have fun and cool off.





We just hung out on the patio all afternoon! We had snacks, and our towels, and cold drinks...what more could you ask for? Molly and Moses had fun also!

I had some root beer...and so did Molly after I managed to spill it everywhere. LOL

Mom tried to do another interview with me...and apparently I wasn't in the mood--because this is what she got:

Mommy asked me how old I'm going to be, and I responded with a "FOUR!!! & I like chocolate and booty butt." Nobody can say that I lack in the personality department...that’s for SURE.

On Sunday, we decided to wait for Alex to take her nap--and then head out to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo! We are letting our membership expire at the end of the month...so we decided to squeeze in one more trip.

Daddy and Alex watched a mama and baby cuddle together--the baby was born last August! Almost one year old~

After our zoo trip we came home and got ready for the week ahead. I have a pottery class tomorrow, and my FIRST dentist appointment with Dr. Palmer on Wednesday afternoon.
