Weekly Update

Sort of an exhausting week towards the end, but we made it. The kids only had 3 days of school last week, and testing Thursday morning. Thursday evening we decided to take Molly in to see Dr. Pierce to get her pulse on how she things she is doing. Basically, with Molly having very little use of her back legs and not getting around much along with her incontinence--Dr Pierce is considered about her quality of life. She doesn't believe she is any pain, but that she is probably frustrated. Molly still likes to eat, drink, and be with her people so we aren't at that point just yet where we feel it is time to say goodbye. It was a very emotional day, and an emotional weekend knowing that the end is growing closer. We knew it was, but Dr Pierce sort of solidified that for us. So, we have been spending a lot of extra time snuggling her, being gentle with her, and letting her know how much we love her so very much.

Friday evening we bought tickets to the Rocky Mountain Vibes, which used to be the Sky Sox and decided to go and check out a game.  We stopped for appetizers across the street before the game and we were happy to see all the arcade games.

We had front row seats right behind home plate, but only managed to sit there for about 10 minutes before moving over to the grassy area where the kids don't have to sit still and JR can try and hunt down a baseball being tossed over for the kids.

They had s'mores! Which was fitting since the S'more is their mascot.

See!  This one was spoiled with ALL the treats.

Apparently, Kettle Corn is life.  LOL

& we stayed for the awesome firework show.  Sort of impressive considering tickets were only $3/each to get in!

The next day we did a bike ride and ended up right back where we were.  Ha!

Molly love, and cuddles.

But we can't forget Moses.   Saturday afternoon walks are his favorite.

And more pictures with our Molly girl.

And...Moses.

This week the kids have their first FULL week of school.   Long Labor Day weekend ahead!
