Got a little experimental with Alex's hair one morning. Oooooh. Ahhhh.
On our way to school. Only 2 weeks left!
Moses and his foot, that he sometimes forgets about it. LOL
Still reading almost every night, and Molly and Moses decided to join us for a little Pig The Pug.
Speaking of Molly. She has been a bit of a hot mess here lately. First she was on a few weeks of antibiotics for bowel issues. Then, she got put on antibiotics for a "raging" (as Dr. Pierce called it) UTI. We think she is starting to feel better. Getting old just sucks!
A picture of Alex doing her summer reading program presentation in class that was sent to me by her teacher.
Last Saturday we went to Sammy's 1st Birthday party at a park. Lots of yummy food, and I believe he had a good time celebrating after he finally woke up from his nap.
Check out the cakes by Courtney!
Yum!
Amber put together this cute little timeline of his first year.
Cortland, the proud Big Brother.
Sammy trying to wake up and put his party pants on.
Gift table.
Time for cake!
He figured it out!
So much cake leftover.
Sammy's favorite toy.
That evening we had some friends over while the adults went out. Noel sent these awesome picture while we were out.
Our bush right outside of our front door. We lost a section of it this past winter. )-:
Will do tricks for Cheerios.
Sunday was Mother's Day and I was SPOILED. Gift cards galore, my favorite cologne that I ran out of, and a new coffee cup. We had a great day just hanging out and chillin.
It was beautiful outside so we did a bike ride/jog to the park for some sun.
We met up with Mom and Dad at Mod Market for dinner.
JR decided to play photographer.
Tuesday night we had our end of year PTO appreciation reception, and afterwards we went and celebrated Danielle's Birthday. Nice group of mamas that I'm happy to know.
40 years old!
A friend sent this picture of Alex and some of her girlfriends during lunch at school. Cuties.
Thursday night was Gallery Night at the school. Did I mention the end of the school year is always CRAZY? JR did ANOTHER project on the Diamondback Snake. He did a great job with zero help from Mom and Dad.
Alex did a super cool presentation on a book as part of the 1st grade summer reading program.
We all got weird with Snapchat. Too funny not to share!
Jeff might be a nice looking lady after about 8 beers. Ha!
Friday night we had our neighbors over for game night. The kids had fun, and the adults got to check out some new board games.
Moses appreciated the company.
Yesterday we went to a BBQ in Monument for some new friends of ours. They had a cotton candy machine! Score!
Check out that perfect ball!
And chickens! Hello, ladies! These guys produce about 1 egg a day, and they were delicious as Deviled Eggs.
This week is another week of busy. Both kids have field trips tomorrow, Field Day that both Jeff and I are helping out with, and another fairly busy weekend ahead. Now if the weather could just stay out of the 40's, I would have nothing to complain about!
