JR's class had a Cinco De Mayo celebration in their class room on the 5th, and his teacher sent out a few pictures:
On Friday we decided to go see the movie "Boss Baby." It was pretty cute!
They insisted I take a picture. Ha!
And...we may have had ice cream for lunch. But whatever!
On Saturday we had our annual Mother's Day Brunch at the Sunbird. This was our 3rd year attending. This is an event that our life insurance brokerage company puts on every year, and we all really enjoy it--so we continue to go! These two were being goofy as I was getting ready:
Posing outside of the The Sunbird!
My two little love bugs!
After brunch, we dropped JR off at a classmates birthday party at Villa. We decided to run a few errands and grab a beer at Nano 108. We had ran into the owner a few weeks back, and he had invited us to come on over and gave us a $20 gift certificate. Very nice. The weather was beautiful and the beer was cold. Ahhh! Felt like summer!
On Sunday I met with the Colorado Surrogate group at Little Monkey Bizness. One of my surro friends is moving away, so we decided to get in one last play date before she leaves. It was good meeting up with all the ladies since delivering two weeks ago. After our play date (the kids managed to last about 5 hours), we stopped by Donna's Dolphins and got them signed up for swimming lessons! They will have an evaluation this Sunday, and then we should be able to start the official lessons. I'm excited to get them swimming before our October Playa Del Carmen trip.
This week is a busy week. Seems like there is so much going on in May with all the end of the year activities. JR has testing and an award ceremony he was invited to on Thursday. Parent appreciation breakfast on Wednesday, and some fun plans with the girls this weekend.
