On Saturday evening, Alex was given her “early” birthday present. A new play kitchen! We both love it, and have been cooking up corn, pizza, and hamburgers non-stop ever since.
The pan actually sizzles and the pot sounds like it is boiling! Pretty cool.
On Sunday morning, we had a Pajama Birthday Party in Alex’s honor. Instead of a cake, we had donuts! A donut cake, if you will. I have to say—Alex’s pajama party was quite awesome. The perfect size, great food, lovely guests, and held during the perfect time of day when everyone is still fresh.
In Attendance:
Grandma and Grandpa
Auntie K (Trent was working)
Ms Junior and Cami (Mr Jason was working)
The Loomis Family (Ms. Larissa, Mr. Shawn, Gavin and Gwyn)
The Yardon Family (Little Cooper is in Alex’s class at school, Ms. Andrea and Mr. Logan)
Auntie K and Daddy:
Auntie K and Mommy!
Mr. Logan and Cooper (age 16 months)
Alex and Gwyn decided it would be easier to call for pizza delivery. LOL
The kids had a blast running around playing, the adults enjoyed nibbling on food and drinking Starbucks Coffee. Thankfully, almost everyone saved room for a DONUT!

Me being silly!
After the party was over, Alex and I napped for 2.5 hours each! Ahhhh. We were partied out.
Alex went to daycare on her actual Birthday. Mom got a few shots on her way to school!
Goof ball
Mom brought Birthday treats for Alex’s toddler class, and I got special permission to join her class for treats! Mmmm…chocolate pudding!
Ms Lyssa sent these pictures to mom of the daycare birthday celebration.

We got picked up early from daycare, and went to ITZ to run around and have some fun.
She hit a couple jackpots on some of the games that give out tickets and raked in over 600 tickets!
And cotton candy to top the evening off! I think Alex had a great two days of birthday celebrating. I have a birthday party for a classmate to attend on Saturday at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. The weather should be nice for this time of year, so we are excited about that. Hope everyone has a great week.
