Weekly Update

We had a pretty good week! Everyone was healthy and happy and Mom's back is FINALLY feeling a lot better. Alexandrea had her One-Year Baby-Well exam on Friday afternoon with Dr. Reich. She was so funny sitting quietly in the waiting room. Just sitting...and looking around...and waiting!

She was awfully cuddly with Dad. Alex was not a fan of being weighed and measured and Daddy was the ONLY one she wanted to sooth her:


She only ended up getting ONE vaccination (the MMR). Mom and Dad decided to spread this last round of shots out a bit, after the reaction I had at 12 months. Better safe than sorry!

Her appointment was right in the middle of her usual naptime...so she was pretty sleepy:

On Friday night we hung around the house and listened to music videos you YouTube! It was a wonderful evening. Here is some video of Alex jammin:

On Saturday morning, Mom and I met some of my friends from school at Little Monkey Bizness (one of my FAVORITE places). James, Jameson, Kiyla, and Alexa were all there!

On Saturday afternoon, Mom and Dad met Auntie K and Trent for dinner and drinks at Old Chicago's. They had a good time enjoying their dinner without forks and Cheerios being flung at their head!

On Sunday afternoon, we went and ordered my new furniture from AFW. Alex and I make it REALLY difficult for Mom and Dad to concentrate on important furniture decisions. Next time...they will shop alone!



Grandma and Grandpa came over for The Super Bowl! We had chili and hot wings and cinnamon rolls! The Baltimore Ravens ended up winning in what turned out to be a very close game.

Nothing special planned for the week. My new furniture will be delivered sometime on Saturday. Hope everyone has a fantastic week!
