But! Before we get to the party pics...I wanted to share a little master bedroom bed make-over! After much contemplating over what to do to give this bedroom more pop...we came up with a new quilt and some fun pillows. I like the way it turned out! Jeff complained about there being more pillows to put on the bed each morning. Men. LOL.
Before picture of all the beige and blah:
After picture! Sage green and some orange pop! Yay!
Okay...we decided to have her party at the same place J.R had his 3rd Birthday Party...I believe. Man oh MAN what a difference a year makes. Last year Alex was so reserved, quiet, and clingy. This year she partied like a rock star and acted like she owned the place! Needless to say...she had a BLAST!
"It's my paaaartay!"
I hope they continue to share a lot of the same buddies...that would be so awesome. Big Brother, Gavin, and Alexa:
These two have their 7th Birthday parties in the next few weeks that we will be attending. Jameson and Alexa both have January birthdays. What a busy month!
Carissa Junior and her 9th month old, Alex. He is getting so big and crawling all over the place. Busy busy busy!
Angela and baby Sam, who was not feeling very well )-:
These two are double trouble!
Having a blast!
Ms. Tosha with the girls...Ms. Tosha is Alex, Gwyn's, Taylor, and Cooper's preschool teacher.
Gayleen and 4 month old baby Christopher:
Grandma and Grandpa came to watch the sweaty munchkins run around like crazy people:
Taylor!
Getting pushed by Dad on the rope:
Gavin taking a break
Baby Olivia is now 16 months old! How did that happen?
Alex's Birthday cake turned out quite yellow...that's okay! They gave me 50% off! Haha.
Happy Birthday to my girl!
Making a wish!
"I want Curious George's head, mom!" You got it!
Taylor and Ariana (Ms. Nikki's niece):
Big girl Cammi will be FOUR this summer!
This is Holly...Alex's buddy and Ms. Tosha's little girl:
Gwyn enjoying cake!
Jameson, Connor, and Gavin:
Cheesin Cooper!
Such a handsome boy!
It was great to see her a giant smile on her face. As she was handing out her party favors she came up to me and gave me a giant hug and said, "Thank you for my fun party, Mommy!" Made my heart just melt into butter. After the party Gavin and Gwyn came back to the house to open presents. She was spoiled, of course!
Sunday morning we decided Egg and I was in order! Yum Yum pancakes!
After breakfast we decided that the sun was shining, and the snow was sticking...so we got all bundled up and took the kiddos sledding for their first time.
Just perfect weather for sledding!
My loves getting ready to shoot down a hill!
Nice, buddy! After about 1 1/2 hours, they STILL were not ready to go home.
So we stopped at the park and got some winter swinging in!
We took it easy the rest of the afternoon.
On Wednesday Alex gets to choose where we go for her dinner celebration, and I'm bringing in ice cream sundaes for her class to enjoy on Wednesday afternoon. I might try and stop in and surprise her for a bit.
