Halloween 2014

This week we got into the Halloween spirit by carving our pumpkins. I wanted nothing to do with it, really. So not much has changed from years past. But Alex? Oh. SHE LOVED THE SLOPPY MESS. She wasn't sure at first but once she decided it was okay? She was ALL IN.
Hmmmm. Not to sure:

Just don't ask me to touch any pumpkin guts, okay?

Daddy takes his carving very seriously.

Cheesin for Mommy:

Oh yeah...here she goes...

Mom decided pretty quickly that she better strip off her dress!

She was totally content playing in the pumpkin slop for as long as we would let her! I was already off watching a show. "Have fun with that! I'm outta here."

Finished pumpkins. We did a cancer ribbon for Devin. She loved it.

On Friday afternoon Alex and I had our Halloween parties at school, and then the daycare did a parade. I led the parade line!

Alex enjoying her party treats! We ended up not coming to Mom and Dad's work for the Trick-or-Treating in the halls. But we still had a great time doing the school thing!

After pizza, we got all bundled up and ready to go Trick-Or-Treating in our neighborhood. It was rather chilly, so we lasted about an hour!

Alex did a pretty good job, other than she wanted to be carried up to everyone's door step. Mom tried explaining to her that is cheating!

We both made out VERY well and have enough Halloween Candy to last until March! Funny story, as we were wrapping up our evening...we decided to stop at our next door neighbors house as they had told us to come by before we were done. They invited in to see their newly finished basement. Mom had handed Alex off to Daddy, and not 5 minutes later...she started to pee all over DAD, and all over the Cross' brand new carpet! That turkey!

Grandma and Grandpa stopped by to see us in our costumes and look over all the candy we earned.

We had a very nice Halloween.

On Saturday afternoon, Ms. Stephanie came over to hang with Alex and I while Mom and Dad met some friends for an adult afternoon at the All Colorado Beer Festival. They had a great time.
Mom and Auntie K:

Mumsie sent us some pictures she took while visiting Devin this past weekend. She is feeling okay, and starts her 2nd round of chemo this Thursday.

We are getting ready for a very busy November. Lot's of Birthday celebrations, Thanksgiving celebrations, and a trip to Dallas to see everyone again. This month is going to fly.
