And we did our annual cookie exchange at Amber's house. There was a little less people this year, but it still turned out nice!

We decided to join the kids up for Villa! So we had lots of pool and gym time...and maybe some snack bar time.
We decided to do the Christmas Light party bus, and took along Rylee with us. They had a great time--although it was LOUD.
We all met at a bar beforehand, and we ran in to a friend we had just met.

Oh, and a stop at the Broadmoor was nice for one of the best Lemon Drops I have ever had. Did I mention we did a whole lot of eating and drinking over our break?
Rylee slept over and that landed us at Christmas Eve morning. Rylee did NOT want to go home.
And we decided to try something new this year where we opened up presents on Christmas Eve sort of breaking up all the chaos a bit, instead of everything on Christmas morning.

On Christmas Eve we decided to go out! We had a delicious dinner at Streetcar 520. Holy cow was it memorable!
These fries and curry sauce were just amazing.
And we got the prime rib special. Mmmmm.
Then we stopped over at Mom and Dad's for chocolate pie.

Moses got to come with also for the visit. He had a blast.

Oh! And Mumsie came in Christmas Day to visit for 5 days!
So there was more presents to open...
And we basically ate, drank, played games, and hung out for the next 5 days. It was a great visit.
We visited the Ivy Wild school also.
Sharon hung with the kids so we could have a date night with our friends. We did Pig Latin and an Escape Room and had a blast.
We failed miserably at the Escape Room. LOL.
And we were right back at Pig Latin the next day for lunch as Sharon wanted to see what she was missing.

One last round of food and beverage before Sharon went home. Phew---pretty sure I gained 8 lbs. Thanks, Sharon!
Sharon went home the day before New Years, and we ended up staying home and just sort of watching movies and hanging out. It was a whirlwind of a Holiday break!
